I graduated from London College of Fashion in 2009 and started my career in tailoring as a coat-maker, working in-house and as a Freelance Tailor for multiple Savile Row Tailoring Houses. I loved the traditional techniques, making a coat look as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside through meticulous hand-stitching and precision sewing.

After moving from the UK to Australia with my young family in 2023, I continued my sewing career working with a costume maker, broadening into different types of sewing projects and techniques.

Sewing has been such a big part of my life and over the years I’ve built up a wide variety of skills and knowledge which I would love to share with others.

I started The Tailor’s Stitch because I want to guide people on their own sewing journeys and help make learning to sew feel simple and achievable.

My aim is to take away the intimidation, so you can relax, enjoy the process and discover the joy of creating something with your own hands.
